In Qatar, Hightex will be responsible for the membrane construction on the roof and façade of Al Bayt Stadium. The italian company Cimolai, who is a part of the contractor team together with the leader Salini Impregio S.p.A and Galfar Al Misnad Engineering and Contracting WLL employed by Aspire Zone Foundation, selected Hightex due to their longlasting experience in membrane construction for stadiums. The stadium for 70.000 spectators is built as a venue for the 2022 FIFA Football World Cup. Until its scheduled completion, a total of 200.000 square meters of roof - and façade area will be covered in membranes.

The roof will be composed by 100 single membrane panels, the liner will have 200 panels and the facade about 60 panels. Some of the membrane details will be tested before installation, because of the challenge regarding the climate conditions.

The total of membrane material is about 165.000 m².
